Born and raised in Southern California, the mountains have always been a special place to Amber. She spent many summer days here as a child, playing in the creeks, hiking, and dreaming of the mountains becoming her home.
Amber was a stay at home mom of four for fifteen years. When her youngest went into first grade, she decided to go back to school to get a degree in something she enjoyed and was passionate about. She went to culinary school, worked at some of the top restaurants for some of the best chefs in the business and even had her own catering company. During that time, she met some music industry professionals and also began a career as a studio singer. She volunteered at many events and with many organizations as helping people is so important to her.
As Amber and her husband were approaching the “empty nest” years, they decided it was time to look for a home in the mountains.. About a year and a half ago, they moved to Running Springs! It has been a dream come true.
With the empty nest stage in full effect, Amber decided she needed a change of career. She is still passionate about cooking and singing, helping others etc. But something was missing. Her husband had been telling her for years she should go into real estate because she would look at houses all of the time online, stop by open houses, grab every flier, and home magazine she saw anywhere she went. She studied the market changes, interest rates etc. After talking with friends and family encouraging her to do it, she had given it some thought. One day, a neighbor who was a real estate agent, asked if she’d consider getting her license. Well, that's just the sign she needed, she immediately signed up for real estate classes, took her test and got her Real Estate License and became a Realtor. Amber had bought and sold a handful of houses for herself prior to her becoming an agent and was so excited to learn what an agents’ job actually is. Turns out, it's even less about looking at houses and more about helping others. What a great fit! She joined her team at Coldwell Banker Sky Ridge Realty with said neighbor who had been the one who gave her the push she needed to go for it. She feels honored to be a part of a team with over 35 years of real estate experience, is learning constantly and works hard for her clients. She is honest, caring, and will put her clients needs first, always. She sold her first house within a few months of getting licensed and has continued to help many others in the buying and selling process. Amber loves people and cares deeply that they get the help they need when buying and selling their house. She would love the opportunity to work with you!
